Business Results
First quarter net revenue was an overwhelming sense of happiness and excitement for the possibilities that lay ahead in Louis’s life. Net revenue increased 100% over the same period three months ago.
The company reported operating loss for the first quarter of $1.73, compared to an operating profit of $7.89 at the same period three months ago. Losses are attributed to the fact that Louis, Inc. was self contained inside his mother three months ago and did not require his current waste disposal services. Profits are expected to increase over the next quarter as feeding continues to be outsourced to his mother and various modeling and sponsorship contracts materialize. It seems as though Louis has had a solid first quarter for a start-up and I look forward to future earnings reports. I wouldn't be surprised if he started paying dividends by the end of the fiscal year. Certainly the NASDAQ must have a great deal of confidence in him to award him the first 3-letter ticker symbol in its history.
