Celebrating in Style

I celebrated my 33rd birthday today. It was great to come home from a class I'm taking over the summer to find Mary and Louis hard at work making me a special birthday cake.
Louis helped me to blow out the candles and almost had them all blown out before I huffed and puffed.

We had one heck of a scare this weekend with Master Leo. After spending they day at an outdoor community music festival we got back to Mary's sister's house and found all this pin point bruises over Leo's lower legs. The soles of his feet were turning black and blue. Naturally we were really worried that this could be the start of some blood disorder or heart problem so we rushed him the ER. Luckily, all Leo is experienceing is a reaction to a virus he picked up, most likely from his big brother. Fortunately, Leo is doing fine and growing each day.
