Guitar Hero

This is worth a separate post. We were invited to Lora's third birthday party a few weeks ago. The party was wonderful. Louis and Lora hit it off, Leo and Ray moved around the house at their own pace, and the adults actually were able to converse, chase kids, and drink a few beers. Just as we were getting ready to pack up to leave the kids opened their gift bags. Inside each bag was either an inflatable guitar or microphone.

Ever the stage father I can not tell you the pride that swelled up in me to see Louis grab the guitar by the neck, start tapping his foot to a beat, an even at times curl his lip up, a la Billy Idol. With Louis on guitar and Lora with the mic, the two led us through rousing renditions of ABCs, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. During one audience participation of ABCs, Louis stopped between K and L to call out, "everybody louder!" What a show man! Check out some wonderful photos below
